Need a picture taking and then posting/emailing of the rod that connects the diesel pump with the air valve, its on the drivers side of engine.

Pretty please? it is Xmas!

I do not work on automatics so I am not familiar with the air pump your referring to, I can only make inquiries on Monday.

1 Why do you need a picture...???
2 I have spoken to two friends of mine who specialise in automatics, they both tell me that the only problem you have with that unit is when one of the air pipes that go to it and from it become holed , which usually results in the vehicle staying in first gear for a lot longer than is needed.... vacuum is created from a pump that is attached to the rear of your alternator, check all pipes there to

Had a autobox fitted which sorted my problem BUT the so called mechanic that looked at it first (has since been sacked!) messed around with the screwthread so i'm not sure how much thread is meant to be there. Have also had all air pipes replaced

I will check for you, but usually the rule is to set both units at the beginning and then set the length of the link:arm so that it fits snugly in Between....
