As the price as the Skodas is creeping up, along with the creeping down of the warranty, has anyone tried or looked at the Hyundai equivalent.
In Private Hire Monthly it says you get a three year warranty. So is it worth a look at, or even worth buying?

come on pete, and be so brisk,
for one of us has to take the risk,
have you seen a taxi or private hire car,
with hyundai badge that goes so far?

it wouldnt be very smart,
to buy a car where you cant get the part,
the decision is yours so be so brave
if it goes wrong youl live in a cave.

you are tempted that I see,
so a 3 year warrenty is that what will be?
will the seller be there in 3 years time?
if you think so then thats all fine.

if long waranty will be your heaven,
then take a look at the euro seven
the warenty is for 5 years long
in that time you make enough to buy a gong.

what is it you drive now?
is it being a right cow?
have you time to study the plain?
for your next car that will be a pain.

go from here when ever you will
but always travel with paddington bill.

I used a Hyundia Stella as a taxi a few years ago. 3 years unlimited warranty etc. Cheapest vehicle I ever used, did over 300k with no more than regular servicing and sold it on to a friend who used it for another 3 years. It was basic but very reliable.

A couple of the lads have them, and they seem ok.

I think if Skoda don't improve on the two years warrenty, then more of the lads will give Hyundia a look at.

I own a Hyundai Santa Fe S.U.V. jeep and can honestly say in the 4 years we have had it, it's just an amazing car. Great performance, warrenty, bodywork etc.....just love all Hyundai cars now :D

I get 25 mpg from my Landrover Discovery chairlift, swing front seat 4-wheel drive, off road taxi Taxi. And I beat the traffic jams by driving up grass verges and accross fields.

And its cheaper than a TXII.

Shame about the turning circle though.
