If I leave the cab (TX1) for longer than 3 days without using it, the battery is flat, and engine just "clicks" on the solenoid and will not start.

Battery changed for new a week or so ago - still no good.

Alternator seems ok and charging - no warning lights on when running.

Any ideas? I think the only thing on, and draining is the Alarm system, and a "trickle" to the meter and stereo.

So, should I disconnect the alarm -if so how?, or could it be something else?

TIA

Sorry - I may have mislead you

I should have said that once the battery is charged it starts as normal - just drains the battery after a couple of days, then won't go again until recharged.

We once had a similar problem with the family car. The radio was not turned on, but it was still draining the battery. Auto lec had to sort that one out. I suppose you could try disconnecting any gadgets i.e radio, stereo, C.B or anything that would not stop the car from working normally. One other thing and I do not mean to state the obvious, is your for hire light definitely turned off when you finish your shift.
