Give the bloke a minute, he only got elected last week!

He reiterated his promises today (Evening Standard) after a meeting with Bob Oddy and Stuart Pessock.

There will be a taxi trade rep appointed onto the TFL board.

(Did you read that Terry? :D )

When they are appointed will they have any clout :?: Like getting the turning circle requirement abolished, so that those who want to can get cheaper more fuel efficient cabs

We'll have to wait and see, it's very early days, there's another 4 years to change things.

I think he is busy at the moment getting rid of Ked's hangers on, both deadwood and corrupt versions. :-$

Mr GBC will just have to wait a week or two for the call.

I said years ago that there should be a rep from the taxi trade on the TFL board, as should the buses/couriers/royal mail/fire/police/ambulance/aa/rac.
It makes sense that the people who use the roads should have some input.

Dunno.

Someone like Bob Oddy or Brian Rice from DAC would be nice.

Just hope it's not an LTI owned rep or Geoff Riesell.

Has he only been talking to the LTDA? Hope it's not Big Fat Geoff, we'd be better off without anyone on the Board.
