If anyone wants to be really supa dupa depressed then go down to Tesco/Asda and buy a copy of Last Light by Alex Scarrow for under £4.

It's a thriller/novel about what happens when the oil runs out, or Middle East chaos causes the oil flow to stop.

Defo law of the jungle.

FFS ITS NOW $138 UP $11.00 IN ONE DAY,
Just because the Isreal is going to kick some Iranian arse and bush has said he may help, GOING TO LOOK FOR AN LPG NEXT WEEK, OR A CAR THAT CAN BE CONVERTED

By Matthew Robinson NEW YORK (Reuters) - Oil jumped nearly 9 percent to a record $139 a barrel on Friday, extending a two-day rally to more than $16 as the slumping U.S. dollar and mounting tensions between Israel and Iran attracted a stampede of buyers.

Well, I did try to tell you not to get too excited.

Find a car that runs on hot air, and you'll be in a perpetual motion machine.

Wouldn't make any difference. We would just be getting shafted by someone else.

In my opinion this country could very well go into meltdown within the next two years, brought about by the tax on fuel and increasing energy related costs.

If the stuff that's going into the factories is up 27%, and the stuff coming out is up 6%, then the factories are going to start laying folks off soon.

And if the true inflation figure is 6% then folks ain't going to put up with 2% increases in their pay.

And the only way this gov/BoE know to get inflation down is to increase the base rate, and what will that do to house prices and our trade?
