I do not say it is true but I have been informed by a number of sources that the PCO are considering making Fairways obsolete by 2012. (Aparently it has something to do with door height & the disabled) There is no literature to this effect on the PCo/TFL website.

Anyone else got any info / links on this?

They may do it before then, as the Fairway's rear doors open from the front, you never know the DDA may make the PCO licence saloons as well
