can anyone provide any information regarding a court case in Coventry concerning age limits and colour of cars please

Yes there was a case re age limits about a year ago, but not about colours of car, or at least not that I know.

No need for a PM, because I have just spoken to the Coventry lad, whose number I was going to PM you, but now there is no need.

The situation in Coventry is that they have an age limit policy on licensed vehicles, the local Taxi Association challenged this in magistrates Court, lost & did not take it further in Crown Court.

They have an exceptional condition policy, over & above the age limit & would not allow the over age taxi to be re-inspected after it had failed its initial test with numerous faults.

There has not been a court case regarding colour of cars/taxis in Coventry. They are free to have whatever colour they want.
