In the holiday season a few drop during the night, but only a few.

They do in Nottingham.

They have two dedicated night-time enforcement officers there.

We are trying to get the same in Brum.

We want their working hours to be 22.00hrs to 06.00hrs on a five day rotational basis.

Yes you can, because they could be on enhanced rates of pay compared with other enforcement officers.

The saying goes. 'Money talks, bullsh*t walks!'

If they're paid extra & they're happy to work nights, then what's the problem?

All the councillors have to do is approve the idea & ratify the enhanced rates of pay for night-time enforcement officers.

After all, the money all comes out of licensing fees, so why should we care if the job is actually going to be done properly?

having had previous experience of 2 LA's before my current, and knowing my current LO's are, in fact, not LO's at all, i wish you well, but if the lottery is 14,000,000 to 1, id suggest thats better odds than getting anyone from most LA's to work at 4am on a sunday...

as you say BC, they charge for it, but wouldnt wanna do it!

If it's not pre-booked then it needs to be on a registered route.
