We are all one big happy family, and even the black cab ops in London share their work with London PH.

True love. :D

I've never had the need (unlike yourself who seems to be obsessed with Bob Oddie) to contact him since he's been appointed to the TFL board.

I have the benefit of picking up a phone, giving my membership number, and then having the luxury of speaking to any of the LTDA officers about any Taxi matter I please, any of the legal team, any of the tax team, or even the in-house solicitor if I needed to.
All of that and discount golf trips for a meagre £16 a month.
I guess that's why 8200 of us chose the LTDA. 8)

I'm not alone and out in the big bad world like you Mr TCB.

Neither do I fear a 6 month test, I drive a pristine Taxi, not a shed like others seem happy to drive, whilst in the same breath moaning that less folks travel by taxis from Hotels . . . of course my first choice when travelling to an Airport would be a dirty J reg cab with an unkempt driver in charge of it . . . .

When I'm second on a Hotel rank, I cringe when that's sitting on point, you can almost see the customers look of despair.

Should not however Mr B. Oddie who is our "represent" on the TFL transport committee (or whatever they wish to call it) have the courtesy to reply to emails regarding "our" trade?

I give Mr E. Thompson his due, at least he makes the effort to reply.

GBC ,I am not obsessed with the twitcher.
He has been asked a perfectly reasonable question by many drivers, not only ones on this forum.
Surely some sort of answer if only a "I dont know" would suffice.

I do not know the answer to the questions I have ask him or I would not have bothered.
The questions being,
Is there a link between the satellite booking office clipboard Johnnie's and the NCP traffic wardens.
Will he investigate on our behalf as rep on the board of TFL.
Doesn't take a minuet to answer or just acknowledge receipt.

BTW mr GBC did you ever answer Mr taxiCABmans question?

Perhaps that's a secret code of being in the LTDA, Ignoring questions you don't like.

Why answer a question the rest of the trade already know the answer to? :?

Mr TCM and a couple of others must live a very sheltered life, that is of course he's not another made up personality someone on here's invented?

My questions are always answered by the LTDA MrA, but that's because I'm a paid up member, non members are entitled to jack sheeite, a big fat round zero.

Ask the LCDC, that's if you can get someone to answer the phone. :D

Calm down dear its only a forum not a court of law.

You did not read ( in the words of Ernie Wise) the statement what I wrote.
Lets start again.

1. I do not know the answer to the questions I have ask him, if I did, I would not have bothered.
The questions being,
Is there a link between the satellite booking office clipboard Johnnie's and the NCP traffic wardens.
If you know the answer to that specific question please enlighten me!

We did not write to Bob as chairman of the LTDA but as the representative of the whole London Taxi Trade on the board of TFL, therefore we think we deserve an answer no matter how trivial that may seem to others who are LTDA members.

I am not a member of the LCDC and they dont have a man on the board of TFL so I dont think they can help me. But I bet I would still get a polite reply.

But you did'nt ask any questions, or do we now take it 'taxicabman' is you as well?

Can't you just stick to one username, you look a bit silly using two or three, is the 'LondonJim' one now finished?

Why would there be a link between Traffic Wardens and Minicabs? Have you been drinking? Why would Bob Oddie, or in fact anyone know what on earth your talking about? Is everything a conspiracy with you?

What about a connection between the FBI, the LCDC and Freds Taxi garage under the arches in Bethnal Green Rd? :?

I'm sure I saw MI5 down there the other day. :?

We? :?

As you said earlier, he thinks your a bit strange, and I suppose it depends on which E-Mail addy or name your trying to contact him under, try using your real name and you may get answered.

I don't have to ask Mr Oddie anything, we have a fully staffed office with knowledgable staff to answer any query I may have 5 days a week, opposed to one hour a day when someone feels like it.

Try joining an association, then, like me, you'll get the answers before the PCO release them.
