I would like to say that saf, was the exception here in Edinburgh, but unfortunately, he's the rule.

This is what can happen, if you take some bottom feeder, give him a plate and tell him he's a "businessman" - as prescribed by the CEC of course.

Their new found "identity" is all consuming. Probably, something to do with the fact they didn't have one before, an identity that is . . . .

Perhaps this is how he exacts his revenge for the humiliation he got at school.

Hide behind anonymity and act big.

You'll be one of those fannies outside the big smoke that thinks he is a taxi driver but really drives a skoda and sits for hours on end waiting for a job. :shock:
You obviously havent seen some of the taxi drivers in Edinburgh Gusmac,especially the wee bird that drives for city cabs. :lol:

It's less about gaining the plate than taking the plate value away from you and your ilk.

It's about emancipating drivers, giving them choices you won't. Because you're greedy, incompetent and could never operate in a fair market - you're being a businessman just an illusion, an intangible mirage.

You need the council to wet nurse you so you don't fail.

Except you have already failed. You have failed to understand this will never go away.

I'm just wondering how much damage we can do to the likes of you in the trade and the council political system before realisation sets in.

BTW I'm happy for this to go on forever. And, more licence applications, and political manouevring will keep the pot boiling.

No sheep either, that I leave to farmers and those with something to hide.
I also can't abide cruelty to animals.
