i have worked as a controller/telephonist in dundee and moved to the north east a year ago. Now looking for work

Why don't you contact Mr Gatesheadangel on here, I think he has plenty of contacts in the NE area.

GBC If he gets a job with GA as a controller they will need 2 interpreters, 1 for Scottish and 1 for geordie :lol: :lol:

given technology today cant a base op take calls anywhere from anywhere and input jobs through data sytems to......anywhere

my bank bird seems to be in scotland one day then bangalore the next

We are looking into this system it's called remote working, it saves having 4 ops in the radio room.

QVC have a system something like that. The telephonist that take the calls from customers could well be at home doing the job so I can't see there being a problem it's just a case of getting the right system
