When i started this thread i kind of hoped that I'd be able to offer some help to others wanting to go it alone and become an operator, or maybe drivers looking into the management side of PH/hackney company's. I guess we'll just have to wait and see which direction this thread takes us.

I'm going away for a few day's next week to Luton for my final training on our new Evo-Core system, which is being installed at the moment. We should go live at the back end of March, our go live date has already been put back 1 week due to poor service from our telecoms supplier. Telecoms suppliers and installs are a subject that i can really rant about!

Pro's and con's of telecoms anyone?

Guess you must have missed then! :D It was posted on page 5 on this thread by me :D

How could I have missed it? I answered it in the equipment thread.

What you state is not the impression I had at the start.

so you did, but she shouldnt....

anyway, waiting only looses the initiative and momentum

Yep, that's exactly what i'm saying, i wouldn't have had to work 7 days a week doing 12-18 hour shifts if i'd have got my timing better Doh!

when do you get to the villa then?

It's not finished being built yet.....it's only 3 years late though!

Am i being overly optimistic as after all it was pay weekend, or did you all see an increase in work loads last night, do you expect job numbers to carry on improving?

Feb 2008, financially, was the same as Feb 2009 according to my books. :?

If its your 18th year in business, how come you said you were part of a family firm and have been involved in the business since you were a boy? and why if its your 18th years is business have you been licensed 20 years?

If thats the case I've been involved around 40 years....but I dont really take my role in the womb as part of that

Lost in translation...a cabbie is a HC driver....a PH is a Ph ...sorry if I caught you at a loss.
