No it doesn't. The thick white diagonal stripe should be at the top on the flag pole side. Take a closer look Toots. Also The flag is not normally refered to as the Union Jack any more. If I remember rightly from my scouting days the flag was fist made up from the cross of St George and the cross of St Patrick with the cross of St Andrew being added later.

No it isn't. You go by the flagpole. Flags on a flagpole can't be hung back to front because ther is no toggle and loop on the other edge. It can only be hung correctly or upside down. :roll:

I'm perfectly capable of erecting flagpoles thank you. You just stick it in a hole and secure it nothing hard about that is there :D

Also to hang it upside down you have to flip it which would make it back to front :?
