Last summer we were told that due to a hot summer retail sales were down.

things dont change this year retail sales are down due to damp weather

maybe those raincoats should not have been discounted

on the taxi front we are well down on last years take, hot summers with lots of barbacues are better for our area.

and internal tourism is well down.

So taking more of the taxi trade's business away by running buses, is going to help things is it?

Trade goes up, and then it goes down. Fix your Xs to the low side and everyone will get by. Fix it to the high side, and you get what you deserve.

no drop down here, we are still 25% up on the same time last year according to booking figures spouted out by the computer.

I think the trade is, in general, down on previous years. However anyone who is in this trade for short term gain is a fool.

The longer you stick at it, the easier and more profitable it should become.

Unless of course you mortgage your house to buy a plate, and then when it goes belly-up you get your just rewards.

Well done Sussex for ramming the point home yet again!
yes I aggree, indeed if you get competent enough you should be able to get a couple of cars in the drive and get an extension to the garden shed?

or you could leave the trade get an extension to the house and moonlight for a friend.
