They rarely get to the front. The lazy cows with pushchairs, who aren't interested in securing their brats, walk down the rank for the WAVs. Suits me. It takes for ever to unload a pushchair, fold it and get them all in for a £4 trip!!
Just exactly what's wrong with the Trade...Baboon's with saloon's who want to sit on their ar$e and be of no help whatsoever...Then post on such a Topic......

Thanks for the generalisation mate, I've run a saloon car both PH and HC for over 20 years now, I've never refused a wheelchair in my life, and I am also only to happy to carry them as I thank my lucky stars it ain't me sitting in the chair, this is something I can say isn't always the case with WAV driver's, I've seen them whisk an able bodied person away infront of a chair because it's too much hassle to get the ramps out, also if you talk to disabled folk they hate WAV's and prefer the chance to get out of the chair and have a one to one face to face chat with the driver, makes them feel normal for 10 minutes, I find a WAV a nessessity but I also find them to be an unsociable means of travel for both able and disabled folks, if you are a London cabby I can forgive you your indescretion as I know what a saloon in London means * pikey theif* but us others who are fully licensed HC's offer just as good if not better service, and until I run on a London tarriff I don't really feel obligied to buy and maintain a 30k+ vehicle just to get £3.50p off a punter going half a mile all day.
He's got a London cab alright, but he's from Dundee.
He thinks that everyone else should buy one as well.

Blaw Blaw Blaw.....It's still the only Purpose built TAXI...

Shame it's a pile of sh*t

What is a shame is the whole Taxi Trade..From National to Local Government, the unfairness created, the ill-will installed by the powers that be, the fact that how many times tried, unity will never prevail, it's all there to see and change...but rather than channel our energies into a positive proposal, we stoke the Government fire's of divide by slagging each other and, the many vehicles akin to our Licence conditions.
Yes, i bought a TX11, although i could have opted for the cheaper conversions, but that was my choice..the proper tool for the job with Driver/passenger safety a big factor, but,i also think that we all work on a very unfair playing field ! The DDA is discrimitory towards certain members of the Trade and LA's filling thier coffers with the revenues is very disheartening but, until a fair, even, logical solution is proposed by we..The Trade..no legislation will be installed ever..Isn't it sad that we sometimes take pleasure in another's misery and misfortune...
