I heard there's a waiting list for the vito with rear steer? Can anyone confirm this?
If true, they won't be discounting the price just yet.

The TX4 started off that way.

Give them a chance, as I mentioned on another post, they apparantly eat Turbo's.
The rear wheel steering device will be interesting after a couple of years worth of grime, salt and crap has entered it.

I'm sitting back and watching. :-k

GBC, What would the PCO do if you all wanted the removal of the turning circle, so that you could all have a choice of WAVs even the Vito without the rear wheel steer, that is used in the rest of the UK

How many miles?

I would say no-more than average i.e. he isn't one of life's grafter, nor is he journeyman.

I've been recently made aware that it's best to buy the Ford timing/tensioner kit, which sums up LTI to a tee.

The TX5 I thinking about is the one with the Mitsubishi 2.4 engine now being sold in Bahrain.

The OFT should look into the closed shop mentality of these city councils. To blatantly order you to only buy a TX so you can legally ply your trade is discriminatory. It is anti-natural justice. If only I had the money to take it to court. Then onto the eu in Brussels. Anti-competitive practices must be stopped & reversed. The councils are 40 years behind everyone else its crazy!

From memory i think it already has been considered in europe and the councils won.

Thanks captain you probably write. I still think its unjust imagine you started a coach company. You trained hard & obtained your 'O' License. You then secured parking for your coach [soon to be many more]. Then you ask VOSA for advice on matters for maintenance and drivers hour etc. They then drop the bombshell. Sorry you can only have a top of the range Volvo@250k because we said so. I say the Volvo is ok but the Scania carries 10 more passengers & is only 220k. They say tough thems the rules. Since when can anyone tell anyone else what to buy & operate? The VOSA wouldn't dream of telling an operator which coach they should purchase, they would only be interested in the proper maintenance & operational procedure. Roll on the day the Taxi industry is totally dereg. And I hope a professional body like VOSA are responsible for running it! The clowns on the council licensing committees can go back to their knitting & basket weaving.
