You have been trying to discredit him for long enough!

Not sure I've been discrediting any person, just a system which I can assure will be found to be illegal, or banned if found legal.

So whoever runs the scam best start looking to be licensed.

If the driver has been sourced from a chauffeur agency I would think that he has had a CRB check.

Anyone can be CRB checked, even murderers, but the point of a CRB check being checked by a proper authority seems to be something the scammers can't work out. ](*,)

Another issue no-doubt VOSA will be looking into is the insurance situation.

Does the lady who booked also pay for the insurance, thus she will be suing herself for any injuries. :?

 Sussex does everything that comes out of your mouth smell of sh-t if VOSA wants to come and visit us let them perhaps you could come and have a look aswell instead of hiding behind your user name on here all seat belts were being worn the chauffeur that the lady hired was CRB checked and had a full psv licence and was passed by our insurance company to drive the limo the same as the person that has had our Lamborghini on self drive hire this weekend and the person that has had our Bentley Arnage on self drive hire all last week, also all the limos that we hire out have Tachographs and speed limiter fitted and have 10 weekly inspections thats more than your taxi's have also the police have now informed us that the 23 old that hit the limo due to speeding is a taxi driver from Bath  Keep on talking sh-t you sad lot.

Blimey the hummer must have crashed itself.

In relation to the CRB check, who passed the driver? Was it you? :?

But thank you for your constructive reply, you have just confirmed most of my views relating to hummer owners.

Is the limo a psv vehicle?

No, he doesn't want to mess about with all those checks and balances. [-X

I think you will find that the Hummer was going along perfectly legally and the 23 year old "taxi" driver was speeding and lost control of his car and ran into the Hummer. By the way as far as I am aware the 23 year old was not driving a taxi at the time and he had previously lost his taxi badge for excessive points on his license.

Just shows that regulation does work the councils licensing enforsment stopped this guy driving a cab. But the hummer and driver are unregulated in any way. We are lead to belive this accident was not the fault of the Hummer THIS TIME.
My beef with this self drive scam is no one regulates any part of the whole thing, The driver and The Vehicle.& conditions of hire.Who do the customers complaint to when things go wrong.

Don't they have seatbelts in those vehicles :?

Seat belts wouldnt me much cope....its those long Side facing bench seats in it...just like a bunch of squaddies sitting in 10 ton Truck...

I cant see how 10 seater with that type of seating could be given a PCV (minibus) licence ..thats if it had one.

well if you take a ride on your local bone-shaker of a service bus you will find the front half is dedicated to side seats

this will have a COIF and ops licence with VOSA

I thought that type of seating or Indeed standing on a bus was only allowed for around Town driving at speeds of less than 40 MPH..

and heres a wee snippet from a Limo company..worth looking at.
