Every other service? What service? The local buses dont cater for wheelchair users or coach companies & I have never seen a wheelchair on a train. Wheelchair users have their own free car to use its called motorbility

80% of London buses cater for wheelchairs

Wheelchair users are a regular sight on most train services around London.

Do you know anyone who is wheelchair bound? What if they can't drive?

Luckily one or two persons anti wheelchair views won't change the majority who don't discriminate against the disabled folks in society.

The London Taxi fleet is 100% WAV, I would'nt swap mine for a saloon even if were a quarter of the price.

I have no argument with you wishing to cater for all of society. However, many disabled folk are unable to climb into or out of a WAV. They will pass a WAV to get into a saloon.

That's what the ramps and side steps are for.

I've yet to meet a punter with a mobility problem that could'nt get into a spacious Taxi, but could climb into a cramped Vauxhall Astra or the likes.

How would a wheelchair bound person get into a saloon?

The point is you can't swap even if you wanted to. You are told to get a certain type or F off.

It seems to be one persons opinion, opposed to any hard facts?

Why should a bunch of wheelchair users dictate to me what car I drive. If they were helping me to pay for it then fair enough.
