Who are they trying to protect or who has something to hide?

They don't want this going down the Human Rights route - their meetings are a sham.

The what is their policy to restrict taxi numbers and to protect vested interests. The "who" is councillors abusing their positions and failing to protect the applicants right to a fair hearing.

They've prejudiced Ali's application (a partiality that prevents objective consideration of your application) from the outset.

strange how the big bad objectors to the applications did'nt show face

must be right about thier objections being frivilouse and vexatios.
as none of them are qualified to object under sec 10(3),i dont think the council should have allowed those objections,do you.

The council does whatever it needs to protect its policy.

The objection scenario is designed to ensure that only fit and proper people hold licences. It is fatuous for objectors to object for political reasons.

Also, the company data used to support the council's refusal to grant decision?

Well, isn't it entirely unaudited and irrelevant therefore?

Probably out trying to earn a living

Something you seem hellbent on making impossible, I think personally Ali they can crush you in court on one ground alone, and that is unfit to hold a license, by your own admission you were issued a plate and sold it soon afterwards, that makes you a player and a profiteer, which mean you can't be trusted doesn't it. unfit mate, unfit.

Lets hope someone else in your area reads this and it works to the councils advantage.

This seems to be the standard answer you give anyone who doesn't agree with your rantings.

Do you actually have a solution which doesn't involve hanging, flogging, forced repatriation of all foreigners or allowing barons to exploit everyone else?

Not at all, but if you look at the answer you just gave me you will understand that is exactly the problem with the 4 or 5 of you up there, you trade on champoining free enterprise, but infact the only thing you are really championing is your own ends, as proved by Ali earlier, as for Barons as you put it, if anyone can get a plate how long do you think it will take before there are many more Barons flooding the job, doh, go back to school and learn economics and balance will ya, it's pathetic what you lot preach 75% of the trade is already destroyed, if you want a plate that bad mnove to a dereg'd area and get one there if it's such a desire.

Don't listen either, do you. I have a plate and I live in a dereg area.
BTW What point is there to a baron in a dereg area? How does he make money?

Errr hello, he floods it with cars, fills them up with desperate immigrants and sits back to take a profit from them, 20 X £50pw is a nice little earner isn't it.

I actually wonder if any of you are cab drivers tbh, I don't know one single cabby in the whole world who wants more ppl to compete with in a limited market.

Can I go out and just put a bus fleet on? no I have to apply to the right bodies, who will say no, and they say no because it makes no sense to add to something that is saturated already, ever notice why a bus or a train is only full for 2 hours of a day? same thing with us, 24 hour day, 20 hours of sitting around waiting for a stragler.

Can't be much of a challenge getting a badge down your way. Let any c*nt have a badge and you have a recipe for disaster.

Get your council to bring in decent standards - knowledge test, DSA driving test, spoken English etc.
That's where your problem lies, not with the number of cabs. A "desperate immigrant" wouldn't get a badge here - not even a PH badge.

Limit hacks and they will share cabs 24/7 or drive PH and work illegally. No limit on hack plates will stop them and you're kidding yourself if you think it will.
