That's where your problem lies, not with the number of cabs. A "desperate immigrant" wouldn't get a badge here - not even a PH badge.

Limit hacks and they will share cabs 24/7 or drive PH and work illegally. No limit on hack plates will stop them and you're kidding yourself if you think it will.

Yes, Aberdeen.

Interesting statistic I found today.
Since the last limit was lifted 3 years ago, there are 60 more taxis in Aberdeen. 975 against 915
That's 20 a year, guys. Not a huge increase for a city with a thriving economy.
Taxi driver badge numbers have increased by well over 200 in the same period.

Now tell me where the increase in competition has come from. :roll:
