Salford Cabby Stabbed.

A 57-YEAR-OLD taxi driver drove himself to hospital after being stabbed in the arm and stomach.

He was rushed into surgery at Salford's Hope Hospital and his condition was described as stable this morning after the attack at 7pm yesterday.

The cabbie had picked up a group of one man and four women from the Willows club on Willows Road and had taken them to an address in Irlam o'th Heights.

As the group got out of the taxi it is believed the victim was stabbed a number of times.

Four women aged 22, 20, 19, and 18 and an 18-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident.

21 months after the event, the scumbag goes on a nice paid holiday c/o Her Majesty. Not long enough for the driver concerned, but from my experience a lot for this type of thuggery.

Not long enough IMO, he should have gotten 5 years for carrying a knife then another 5 years frror stabbing the driver.
