Skippy... are your relations the lambananas by any chance... just because Liverpool have decided not to challenge..... does not mean they have accepted the E7... it just means they have to go back and re-look at how they came to the decision... not to Licence.... now they have the Mercedes on, it might strengthen their case to refuse.

MR T, 1 of the main reasons for the refusal was the sliding doors was it not???? and there safety, with them allowing the Mercedes on that plan has gone out of the window.
The case was solely regarding the E7, and its equivalents, and that case was won as Liverpool council have decided not to appeal the case so they must now licence it without question.
I have contacted the solicitor who took the case on for a copy of the judgment but he is on holiday until the 28Th of this month

Judicial review.... I would suggest.... that you look for what it means.... and what power the court actually has..... all they have said is that the decision was wrong...... which only means Liverpool have to go back and re-evaluate their decision making..... as long as they fulfil the full protocol.... they could still exclude the E7..... personally I don't see why they shouldn't let it on.... but you saying they have to is incorrect....

You don't seem to realse that now they have the Mercedes which will accommodate the needs of the group that took them to court....BUT.. can still manage the turning circle... the E7 can still be refused.....

I don't need to see the judgment... I understand council procedure and the rules they have to adhere to..... this will go back to the Licensing Committee with the full report... and then they will have to go through the procedure Again..... I don't think for one minute they will be leaning towards E7 after they cost them X amount of Pounds.... and I don't think they would wish them to profit by allowing it.... just my opinion....

The mercedes, in so far as I am aware, was deferred until after the court case.

The Merc looks a decent option, I've seen a few now and they look quality.
Taxifix in Liverpool are selling them now so they'll be hoping Liverpool passes them. Especially as they'll be stopping selling the TX
