Okay let me put it this way, I can foresee a time in the near future where the only HC vehicles any licensing authority will license on a new license will be wheelchair accessible, this includes places like the Scottish Borders and Dumfries.....also any designated transport facility will have to have wheelchair accessible vehicles available by virtue of the franchise agreements.

I know this has got nothing to do with Liverpool, and I don't really care.

So really the thread 'All WAVs At Next Change' will apply all over the country eventually.

This really needs a seperate thread, because it's so far reaching; even country areas would be affected if the government decreed so!!

Does 'any designated transport facility' mean, taxi-buses, private hire, limousines, novelty vehicles, obviously taxis, but does it also mean courtesy transport as for hotels, night-clubs, lap-dancing clubs etc too?

Where does this all end?

But I must say, about time!!!

There is a only a 50% chance that one of them will be right.

There is also a 50% chance that one of them will be wrong!!!

No, there is a 100% chance that one of them will be right and a 100% chance that one of them will be wrong. As to which one is right, that is a 50% chance.

If a bookie was giving odds they would be evens on both ..... evens means 50/50 IN PERCENTAGE TERMS.

So each has a 50% chance of being right!

Erm, that is what I just put. :?

No you didn't; you wrote that there was a 100% chance that one would be right & 100% chance that one would be wrong. 2 x100% = 200%, so somewhere you have two whole things that you are going on about, but I am only talking about something that is 100% & not 200%!

You need to go back to school.

I look forward to that day, and it will save me having to write to the OFT next year.

In my view it means 100% of the UK's taxi fleet, and 100% of the UK's PH operators.

The get out with the ops is that they can either offer their own PH WAVs, or have contracts with taxi WAVs.

To me it means Airports, Rail Stations and Ferry terminals, also possibly bus stations.

To me it means nothing as we've been WAV for donkeys years.

A better choice would be nice, and the Minicabs can have the Doblo's.

And under the LG(MP) Act 1976 they are not compelled to take a booking & are at liberty to refuse any booking.

At Christmas time when PH operators are inundated it's called 'cherry-picking' & not illegal under that Act.

No I don't!!

Any mathematician will tell you that 1 whole unit = 100%

By definition 200% would be 2 whole units.
