gotta agree though its the cleaning back thats the important part,get rid of the years of grime polish and nicotine ,a good quality dash polish will make it look like new! i use a product called armourall, available at most car shops, its not to shiny but seems to enrich the plastic just about right.
back to black is good as well but i dont like it that shiny iether.
