Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the time on a cygnus mr300?

I know you can only change the time 3 mins a day.

Cheers,
Gordon

I thought it was only three minutes every three months?

Thus I think it's a dealer issue.

That must be a real pain at the end of October and the end of March!

The cygnus mr300 automatically changes the time for BST, my meter is running around 3-4 minutes slow.

I just want to know how to alter it even if it is only by 3 minutes to get it closer to the real time.

Cheers,
G

If it's more than 3 months since you last changed it then you press the select button and the total button down together, which should move it on a max of three minutes.

Annoying isn't it...
You correctly say that you can adjust the time by 3 minutes per month. But, mine used to lose about 30 seconds per day.. So, neede to have it reset about each 3 months..
But, because the meter can be set to automatically change tariff, only the dealers can reset the time using the plug in their little calibration tool.. . Else, all the unscrupulouse would be moving an hour backward and forward to maximise their profits..
Not that they would.. oh.. no.. no.. no.. no...

Our Meters aren't calendar controlled, we don't do things like that.
