If he does, it will soon screw the injector pump.

It did mine in & what I saved was what I spent to replace the pump & the loss of earnings.

In the end it wasn't worth it; it cost me in repairs almost to the penny what I'd saved.

Mind you 50p a litre is cheap. I was paying 73p & it smelt like a chip shop behind me.

Lowest here now is 116.9p, but I've also seen it at 124.9 in the last two days.

It's not the making that counts; it's replacing the seals in the injector pump to the correct specs to deal with the bio-diesel.
Apparently, the bio-diesel either over- or under-lubricates (can't remember which now) & creates problems within the injector pump.

I used bio-diesel from March 2007 to November 2007 when the pump packed up & a new one was quite expensive.

How long have you been using bio-diesel?

Rubber seals in fuel pumps are a thing of the past nowadays.... mainly carbon fibre now.. Biodiesel will affect rubber and that's for sure.... but the main problem is when it has not been processed correctly... all the fat removed and then all the acid removed at the final stage ..... I have used it for a long time..... and will continue to do so... 8)
