Melrose 7s are on this coming Saturday, one of the busiest days of the year here.
But due to the council making Melrose better for visitors by narrowing most roads and other traffic calming measures, taxis will not be allowed to rank anywhere, there will be a dedicated pick up points on the outskirts for phoned bookings only, if the punters are not there when you arrive you will be asked to leave :shock:

Is this a race, involving the 7 minicabs, that operate in Melrose? or is it a competition to see who has the most fingers on each hand? :roll:

They maybe there the rest of the year, :lol: when the population is 2000, but this Saturday it swells to 25,000
