Anyone on here replaced their driver seat with one from a car?

I'm looking for one that has a spring base and not just foam and a metal base like they are from TX1 onwards as they are quite uncomfortable when doing long shifts in the cab.

My G-reg fairway seat was so comfortable, currently got a TX1.

So, what replacement car seat does anyone here recommend?

Try leather seat out of scorpio had one in my fairway then in tx1 connect electrics up for better ajustment lumbar support etc. then use fairway driver seat base slots in floor with no drilling.

Did you use the drivers seat out of the Scorpio or the passenger seat. If I could also use the passenger seat then that'd be better since they are usually in much better condition due to being used less.

Also, how was the leg room with the Scorpio seat?

A friend has a Sierra seat in his TX1 and his legs are cramped as the seat is a tad too big.

It seems pretty mind blowing that LTI can't make seats that are comfortable for taxis. You'd have thought they'd have got the hang of it by now.

No need to make the thing comfortable, with the new autos doing approx 18 mpg you can't afford to be sat in it for too long

Get it re-padded with memory foam.
