Remember watching a programme called "Wasted Windfall" twas about North Sea Oil revenue and how Thatcher spent the total on Unemployment Benefits and Social Security.

Now there's a clever cow eh ?? Lay the country to waste then, waste the coffers !!! #-o

I reckon more English would like Scotland to get independence than us Scots, percentage wise
I suspect you are correct. We have had a belly full of your politicians whinging for independence for years.
They try to tell us what to do in the commons and vote on English matters, that have nothing to do with them.
I have to say this, but did you know why G.B plc was created in the first place? to give the Welsh and Scots a measure of democracy! Maybe! But actually it was done to check the growing English Nationalism.
Tony Blair in his wisdom has decided to give the Scottish [and N. Irish] a taster of independence but he has let out the English Nationalist lions out of their cage at the same time! It will all end in tears for everyone!
I am pro British but me-thinks that this tolorant view point may change over time. What do you think?

How do you think we feel then, we have to live with them.

Not quite, the Nationalist MPs don't vote on matters relating only to England, such as education.
