So you're just a complete erse then.

You can come up to me any time, and I will explain to you, in plain English, exactly why you're an er*e.

Insults are usually banded about when the argument/discussion is slipping away from those fishing them out

Tell me now then? Why am I am "erse"?

Let's debate without slinging out insults

Because you have an inane inability to break free from the shackles of your condition.

That's just for starters.

Want me to go on?

What's my condition jim?

I'm not shackled to the taxi trade. I have various disciplines of employment that cover auto repair and college and uni qualifications in electrical/mechanical engineering. If they trade ever went belly up then I could still get gainful employment within a matter of weeks. Sure it may not be what I want but I still recieve regular requests from employment agencies asking if I want to work for them

You are quite right Longshanks,

It does seem to be that only gary and pervy jim feel "shackled" to the trade.

Proof that only failures gravitate to this trade.

If you were as good as your supposed qualifications make you think you are you would still be using them.

But you ain't. You were obviuosly crap at those, and you've brought your crapness to this trade.

And before you get all agitated I don't exclude myself from this either.

But the difference is that I don't see why I should be controlled by feckwits and I don't take it up the choccy because of some false illusion of running a business when all I am is an unwaged "employee" of the council.

You need to take a look at yourself. Get a grip on reality.

This trade should have been a second chance for failures. But bringing failure and more fear to the trade just allows the few guys controlling it unfettered control.

Central got rid of Colky. Now City has its own Colky, doing exactly the same despicable things, employing family in what he no doubt considers HIS business, and reportedly fecking with office staff.

That's the quality of guys controlling this trade. That's what City members are prepared to put up with. That's the kind of scumbag denying me a licence. That's who the council is supporting, who's vested interest it is protecting. A scumbag just like you longshanks.

Then again, imagine a Central guy sitting with a company staff member drinking coffee at the airport while being paid expenses of £17.50 an hour to monitor what's happening on ECPH's desk in the concourse? Isn't this just a [edited by admin]?

How bewildered do members have to be?

Finally, isn't you refusing alternative job offers just proof that things aren't desperate in the trade, that you are doing fine. Proof that demand is holding up. Things haven't changed enough to drive you out of the market.

A demand indicator.

I stay in the trade as I enjoy the job I'm doing. Yes I did turn to driving after factory closures but I did and still do have options but none can compete with the flexibilty of cab driving. Starting and finishing times to suit me. Able to run errands around town whenever it suits me. The a ability to always earn money everyday so any unexpected outlay can be covered quite easily and I don't have to wait for pay day at the end of the week/month. Ability to take a day or time off at any moment notice and not having employers to justify it to

These reasons are why I don't take up alternate employment.

Would like to elaborate exactly what you mean because I for one certainly do not consider myself a failure :-|

I think it is just an insight into how pervy jim feels about himself.

He should have realised by now that other taxi drivers are not like him!

Luckily.

Nope I'm just a realist.

I don't have to buy into the childish illusions that you feckwits do.

You really got to take a real hard look at yourself.

No argument, all you can do is come up with "pervy jim" and other inane drivel. ALL YOU'RE DOING IS FUELLING THE CAMPAIGN.

Still think that rape is reasonable CC?

And what about the challenge?

Tell me, pervy jim.

What is the "childish illusion" that I "buy in to" ?

As you tag "rapes r us" onto all your posts, maybe pervy is not strong enough.

Yeah, but the simple fact is that the quote you refer to is from Wayne Casey's taxis, not me.

Of course I wouldn't expect myopic little you to understand this.

Because cretins are clearly incapable of rational thought.

Personally I prefer the wife-beater jibe
