Just tried it....man that'll be a hand tool for PH guys....though it does warn that:

"These fares are estimates, actual fares may vary depending on traffic, additional charges such as tolls and environmenta; charges may also apply"

It also doesnt give tarrif changes due to to time of day...so what ever your meter says then its your meter that the punter must accept....this bing thing is purely a guide by way of their estimated calculated fare.

My computer booking software calcultes prices accuracy is often way out on a lot of fares so an ipod or computer app will also be way out on some fares but to joe public their ipod/computer will be right and your meter wrong !!

Well when the Meter goes over their Ipad computer generated calculation price...and they dont want to pay any more.. then they dont have to...they can get out at that point and walk the rest

And that's my point in a nutshell!!
