 Post subject: chain or belt?

hi could anyone of you kind gents tell me ,is the 2.7 nissan engine belt or chain driven,and if belt at what intervals should it be changed thanks.

It's neither .... its Cog driven ... all you need to do is change the oil and filter regular

Them were the engines.

BTW MrT, there could be an abundance of low mileage engines available due to the Nissan 4x4s being hammered with all the duty increases :wink:

is the terrano 2.7 engine the same as the tx1 and does it fit straight in

Yes it is and should just drop in, perhaps MR T will enlighten you BTW thats the one I was on about in my last post

I wonder how much modifying it would take to convert the TX2 or 4 to one???

there is quite a bit of modifying to do, doesnt just drop in a tx2or 4 but there is a few companys around that do it
