I wonder if these questions were brought on by this;

http://taxi-driver.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15228

Or, what else is going on in Coventry to have prompted these direct questions?

Bob Ainsworth!....was'nt he the bland numpty they put in charge of Defence in the last labour Government? The Guys a Clown, Kiss of Death on anything he gets involved in....I suppose now he is in opposition then he has to find some cause to destroy in an effort to justify his salary.

If they really want National standards then having someone like him on your team might be the best thing for those against change...

Because an opposition MP asks a question on a subject that just One year ago his own "team" could have pushed through?

Your dream could be a very long time a coming.

That's the view I'm taking.

I would be more concerned if questions never got asked.

Don't misunderstand - I want the questions asked -I want the (right) action taken.

But I have to say it takes a long time for a mighty Oak to grow. A question (or even three) don't constitute an acorn.

23 miles away; you must be joking.

Mind you, when I last droppped in Coventry at night I was surrounded by punter who could not get a cab & that was only about 9 months ago.

And the reason?

Coventry night charge is 80p extra on top of the day rate; so the cabbies don't bother to come out.

And it's a rough as f*ck place!!
