I would say that coming from a restricting man, the words pot and kettle spring to mind.

JD,

No I dont think your guessing, but I also think that a plate with a nearly new vehicle attached is worth more than one of blackpools finest being attached (hehe) .

I should of asked if the plate values had vehicles attached first, so sorry about that.

Otherwise, dont be so touchy, some of us enjoy your posts.

Regards

Captain cab

With regard to Mr Angel he talks a lot of bullchit, he did so as charlie and he does so as Angel so in my book he has excluded himself from being credible. If you care to take notice of what he says then that is your perogative but I suggest you read what he says and digest it very carefully otherwise you may find your credibility being brought into question.

Best wishes

I'd like to to explain that accusation Mr JD.

Am I wrong in saying that the majority of current plateholders paid for their plates.

Am I wrong in saying that the majority of councils derestricting are insisting on WAVs.

Am I wrong in saying that the saloon plates in such areas remain restricted.

Am I wrong in saying that the restricted saloon plates are still demanding premiums.

Am I wrong in saying that your list is supposed to be of councils maintaing restrictions .

I just don't understand why you would put in so much time and effort into something you only intend to half finish.

Include the prices of every premium saught for a HC plate, whether the area be derestricted or not, then no-one could accuse you of trying to proclaim that premiums only exist in areas which have a restrictive policy, in an attempt to strengthen your argument for derestriction of every area.

You try to destroy my credibility for reasons only known to yourself, maybe when you accept that you don't know it all and some people have valid points to raise about the area they work in we will together be able to find the real truth and what is actually fair to everyone.

MR T

There are only three people who can edit your posts on TDO.

You are one of them, but none of the other two are JD.

1) It depends on the area. Mr T said that Liverpool issued free over 1000 plates a few years ago.

2&3&4) Many are insisting that all new HCs are WAVs. However most of them are giving a date from when all HCs must be WAVs. As have the Gov in their DDA up-date given a broad 2010-2020 time-scale. Thus any saloon premium will not last.

5) I think most haven't decided yet.

6) I think it's a good idea to give those outside the trade the rational as to why some in the trade wish to keep quotas. And councillors the truth as to what happens to their free plates.

Your not keeping up to date Sussex, the inplimentation of the DDA regarding taxis has been suspended again, the reason for this is that no single vehicle is accessible to every disabled person. In order therefore to not discriminate every type of vehicle must be available in order to service every persons need. This action was not undertaken at the request of the trade but at the request of the National Disabled groups.

The trade don't wish to maintain quotas to solely protect premiums Sussex, they want to maintain a standard of living as well as keeping up their mortage payments and their families in food.

I think I must have told you this so many times, one day it may sink in.

The 2010-2020 requirements haven't been changed, suspended or even eaten. Please ring the DfT and they will confirm this past piece by TDO.

Is that so, if that were to be the case you wouldn't want a HC plate because there would be no benefit in them, stupid boy.

For [edited by admin] sake man the majority of owner drivers didn't buy their plates as an investment, they bought them for the right to work the plate. Its just that doesn't suit your argument either does it, people actually working for something, burke.
