can any one help there is a smell of burning oil coming from my fiat scudo so opened the bonnet to have a look there was oil at the bottom of the intercooler and on bottom hose and oil round the top of intercooler checked pipes and there not split any one know in any faults.

If you cannot see any splits in the pipes a stone could have holed it, dont run it until you get it checked

checked it today took the pipe off bottom of intercooler and inside the pipe was covered in oil does that mean knackered turbo will this get done under warranty its only done 40k

I would get it down to the dealers. 40k is well within warranty.

I think if the turbo was f***ed you would be seeing loads of black smoke out back.

There is always some oil in the inter-cooler its caused by the turbo seals leaking if you have loads you need a new turbo before it goes big time

Over the years I have had countless disagreements with folks on here about the non LTI WAVs. I have always said they are fine for the job.

However I was wrong, none of the conversions are up to a lifetime of WAV/multi-seater/taxi work, 3-4 years at very best.

No matter how many times the reps say different.
