Well that's just my opinion, and the admin of the forum is up to Alex, so perhaps you could lobby.

When I think of these polls I always think of those on the ITN news early in the morning, which can never be answered properly as a yes or no, and in any case seem more about making money for ITN than establishing what viewers think.

A few weeks ago, for example, they had a piece about prostitution tolerance zones, and then asked the question, should prostitution be legalised?

I didn't even realise it was illegal

PS No jokes please

Yorkie, if this motion came from anyone else you'd rip into them by stating what TDO has said.

Its not yet illegal to buy a TX, it maybe a little stupid, but not illegal.

But I want a pole anyway.

I wish you wouldnt change the subject, as for ITN thats a bit above you,

the sun should be adequate, if you dont have any say in the poll, why dont you keep your sneck out and leave it to Alex, presumably on Sussex computer.

I'm all in favour of a poll.....but first don't you think that the facts of the poll should be right first.

Chelmsford Taxibus (not Cheltenham) has indeed bought four new TXII vehicles, not for taxibus services but to operate on Chelmsford ranks. The Company were limited in their choice of vehicles due to the dictates laid down by Chelmsford Borough Council in their granting of the licences.

Concern may be expressed by Yorkie into the reputation of the Company but they have certainly never operated in the

fringes of the law
. Impecible maintenance regimes and a high class of passenger comfort combined with a modern fleet have made them the envy of many other less able operators.

For the record they do not own Airportcarz but share a common share holder.

and here's me thinking that Yorkie was in favour of competition.

I'm all in favour of any firm which properly licenses, provides a good service and looks after its drivers.

I'm still not sure of the whole taxibus scheme, appart from rural areas like Yorkies where I'm sure HIS taxibus scheme is the envy of his competitors.

Facts and right, don't always go hand in hand with taxi and forum I'm afraid. [-X

That aside DAP, isn't it about time Chelmsford de-limited?
