Because it doesn't deliver adequate transport solutions.

The government couldn't give a stuff whether you get a plate or not, they only care that the consumer can get a taxi when they want one.

Since they made the case for both these issues in response to the OFT, are you saying that one is a lie and the other isn't, and how do you know that?

So with all those extra cabs in your manor, customers still can't get one.

Still, why not ask half of the taxi owners to give up their plates, and go and work for the other half.

Because that's what you want for the rest of us.
