when it gets to around £2.00 a litre (the £9.00 gallon) we're gonna have to be looking at charging around £1.25 for each and every mile we travel...and I cant see that washing with the public. I fear that this Job will soon be Fecked totally..

Blood its already £3.40 for the first mile and £1.60 for every mile after
so 1 £3.40 2 £5.20 5 £9.80 10 £17.60
Then plus 25% after 10 PM 1 £4.50 2 £6.40 5 £12.20 10 £21.90
You will have to increase your prices to catch up
I know your PH but you could almost match the hacks

but your £1.60 is Passenger miles skip....if you factored in an empty return journey your down to 80pence per mile travelled....and thats just about where I am price wise...charge any more and the punters will just use fewer taxis leaving me with no nett increase in income...

Alternatively we could sleep all day and night just like the professional Dole grabbers do...then the problem will simply go away!!

Still holding at £138.9 round here. ASDA is at £133.9 but I will "not" fill up at ASDA.

I used Sainburys last night, but I have to admit like Midlander, all the bad fuel stories I've ever heard have always involved a supermarket fuel.

I try to use the main suppliers when I can, besides I find Shell as competitive as the local Tesco stores forecourt.

£141.9 round here as of this morning, they shoved it up overnight by 2p. Shell is holding at £138.9 at the moment so Shell it is for me.
