Why would you want an all wav policy?

Which shows how stupid you are.

Aren't you paying attention?

And, don't you realise that Sian was murdered by a private hire driver?

Had she been travelling in a wav, a real taxi, with a bulkhead separating her from her killer, might she still be alive today?

I suspect because he shares my view that all cabs should be WAVs.

Looks like LTI's new shop in Edinburgh will be doing a decent trade the way things are going.

I should have held onto my TX2 for a tad longer.

What's that about? All I've done is ask the question as to why Sussex thinks they should all be WAVs and if he drives a WAV, what's your problem with that?

You are probably right as I have heard that although the Unite Union & DTA are looking favourably at the option one they are also considering forms of quality control, where by your new wav will have to be brand new on inception and a possible age limit of 6 years after the date of registration. This is the only way to stop people putting on 13 year old buckets and it will also go a long way to keeping the standards high and ousting the people who are only playing at the game.

Reading this makes me think of hypocrisy of the highest level and this coming from the man that used to shout how his and his fellow wheelchair members had higher expense than we did, I think I spent more on repairs last year than you have spent putting on your tx, coming out with this statement makes me think of the phrase POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK.

Well that's what you get when you buy a Skoda ! and, if you want to talk hyprocrites....you lot have got a nerve going on about age limits ! Did any of the saloon ops care what standard of vehicle was going on by the guy they hired their plate to ?? methinks not....you of all people should know this as you hired out a plate for over 10 years and, if the plates were handed back as they were meant to, and if you and your're saloon baboons accepted progress instead of trying to hang on to your precious saloon status, the Trade would have been sorted over 10 year ago !

Corporate saloon....you're having a laugh..accept it and get on with it !
we had to..... :-({|= Now awa down to chav and run aboot wi yer sheets o paper ! We've got paper sheets for you and Dad's Army for Thursday..they're called tissues... 8)

The only thing that looks bright on the horizon is when they bring in an age limit and go side loading only, then the trade can get back to earning a decent living like we use too, like it was back in the seventy's when there was money to be made and regards corporate plates I think you will find if that is the outcome then trade is well and truly F*CKED, as I am pretty sure there's a well known company in town will gladly give a few hundred for anyone's plate rather than just handing it back, then maybe you are right maybe then it is time to retire.
When the city's shut then your plate becomes an asset & number will not drop, because when you can't have something then somebody then wants one, and if that's the environment you want to work in then the best of luck.

You got it in one lets clean up the sh*te and let's turn the clock back 40 years and then we can all get back to earning a living, even as a driver back in the 70s the money wasn't hard to come by.

Bring on the cap with quality attached.
