Funny then that you and Mick seem to be the two that are always saying that you can't wait to get out of the trade, and indeed you've both at least once announced your definite intention to do so,

Yes you are right but I might wait till the Councils close the doors again before I make my decision.

You drive a saloon vehicle just like any other private hire driver, except that you who can pick up off the street. When you get to drive a real cab we might call you a Cab driver. Until then stick to what you know and not what you think you know.

Well Nidge has been right all along then John, because that means I'm not a real taxi driver either

Is that all 19 years? You're still in an infant sunshine. I can write on a napkin what you know about the Taxi trade. If it weren't for people like me and websites like this you wouldn't have a clue about the Taxi trade.

I take nothing of this site because it's hell bent on causing maximum damage to the taxi trade so please don't flatter yourself "sunshine". I urge everyone to take a look on ripe.net and see who the real owners of this site are. You'll not be shocked.

You might be adept at riding round Watford Nigel but it takes people like me to educate you in the laws of the trade. Mr Sardar or MR Kavanagh haven't got a clue and neither do you. So your credentials as a cab driver are pretty useless.

Since when has a cab driver needed credentials?? Don't flatter yourself "sunshine"

Well it has taken nearly 18 months, and 20,000 posts for someone to mention that.

Does anyone really expect those behind Taxi Driver Online to put their inns and outs on something that can be traced back? [-X

When it was being set up, one of the founders said to the other, that some pratt would put 2 and 2 together and get 529. #-o

Well Nigel, you are that pratt.

Well all you have to do is ask them Nidge!!

But I doubt if they would be that concerned, as long as they get their money.

The responsibility for .uk domain name registration in fact lies with Nominet UK, if you have any problems get in touch with them, but I suspect they'll tell you to mind your own business.

Who said anything about false names?

It's a mega-red herring, and I've been waiting for this moment since we set the site up, why did it take you so long

I thought it would be raised on day one, but good things come to those that wait :D :D :D

It's a pure coincidence Nidge, it's just someone who helped us with the admin involved in setting up the site, and someone who probably knows more about the Internet than about the trade.

What a larff though, I'd given up on you  :D  , but I knew someone would get there in the end.

Obviously the significance of the coincidence wasn't lost on us, and the waiting game has just given us some added amusement.

I'm only glad that we didn't have a little wager on it, because I would have lost way back in 2003

A remarkably prescient post, made only three hours ago.

Wonder who posted that   :D

I was fighting for real Taxis drivers when you were a schoolboy Nigel. There are lots of [edited by admin] in this trade....... and in life itself.

You are not a taxi driver you are a leech who lives off taxi drivers, you might masqurade yourself as being a good guy, It doesn't wash with me, all you and Suspect are bothered about is F***ING the trade up.

Who is paying you to do it??? is it some high powerd person from London who's going to get a big brown package stuffed with money when all the trade is F***ED up good and proper??

I've made this point dozens of times Nidge, so perhaps you could finally answer it lest you look a hypocrite.

Why do you regards the likes of Dunwoody, Kavanagh et al as heroes whey they are clearly not REAL drivers? It wouldn't have something to do with the fact thay they're saying what you want them to say, which is not surprising really, since you the money the unions takes from you does support them financially!

And what about Mick, who clearly only drivers because his other business isn't viable enough for him to exit the trade altogether. Do you still class him as a REAL driver?

One word to all you solicitors who frequent this site.

Image :D :D :D :D

Unless, of course, they're representing the T&G.

But since you didn't answer my question Nidge, it's safe to assume that you agree with my description of you as a hypocrite?
