If ii was suspicous id say that there is no general desire amongst car manufacturers to produce a viable electric family sized car with a decent range

maybe the fact they all produce internal combustion engines, or are in league with the oil companies has a bearing

family cars now have 100,150, 200 bhp, but only do the same mpg as they did with 50/60 bhp, what went wrong?

if electric cars had been developed at the same pace we would have a mondeo/vectra capable of 300 miles per charge and normal speed
