Well i'll miss the phone calls off him which usually started with him saying to one of his mates in the background, " yeh it is, it is, he's here, here talk to him, it's Peter f*cking Kay i tell you! then they would say "hello is this Peter Kay " to which i usually screamed at them to put Mick back on and call him not fit to burn,


all because ive got a Bolton Accent he used to p*ss his sides at that!

Last time I saw him a few weeks Ago, I hadn't seen him for ages and I had lost about 10 stones, and he said quick as a flash, "hello paul, where's the rest of you?"

Anyhow, there's not many people that can argue a point passionately whilst remaining perfectly calm and reasoned. Mick was One of those people.

Mick was a diamond and will be sadly missed by many within the trade, I remember the day I lost my dad after a long illness, I phoned him up to tell him the news, Mick being the man he was in true Geordie style like my late father said, he'll be on the first hole now mate getting ready to tee off.

If I wanted anything and Mick had got it he would give it you without hesitation, people like that are very hard to come by.

He will be missed by many.

I am not entirely sure it is correct, but i got told he was in his MX5 convertible, and for some reason< I dont know how he had a crash in it, me personally I wouldn't like to have a crash in one of them... as they dont seem to have much crash protection being a convertible.

If anyone does find out more info...please let us know
