This time parked on one of the ranks near the indoor market. I'd got a call to go and pick this old woman up who waits at the bottom of the steps inside the indoor market with her bags, she gives you extra if you help her up the steps with her bags. When I got back to the car I'd got a parking ticket.

Now this rank is a 4 car rank and there's always someone parked on their who's not supposed to be there like the disabled people who think they can park anywhere. When I pulled up there was a sandwich van there without a driver, when I got back to my car the warden didn't even ticket the Sandwich Van she just ticketed me, there was one of the other drivers on the rank when I got so back I asked him if he'd seen the warden? He said no he'd only been there 1 minute.

I was out of my car for 5 minutes maximum.

5 minutes to go down some steps and back up again? Did you go for a pee whilst you were down there?

I've not took the Not Very Qualified course I don't like the assessors to insult my intelligence plus they don't like me when I question them about the worth of the course. 8)

The difference between them and me is I'd tell honestly the value of the course

A friend of mine received a letter from a company stating that he had to do the NVQ or his badge would not be re-newed. He phoned them up and told them they were talking boIIocks but he would do the course anyway. He also said that he did not intend to do any work for this because he used to be an NVQ assesor years ago and told the guy to just take the governments money. The only thing that he did to get his certificate was take the assesor with him on a Stansted airport run.

The "cost" of the course = Much Wonga (even if it comes from the Government).

The "value" of the course = The Square Root of Sod All.

But then I would say that wouldn't I.

My value explanation is much shorter than yours. It goes along the lines of 'Do you want a badge?'

I can only assume you mean you are keeping it. When I'm asked by a driver that is forced to do the NVQ, as a condition of their licence, why they should have to do it and what will they learn my reply is 'Do you want a badge'. Do you have to do the NVQ in Plymouth?

New entrants have to do it.

Naughty boys (and Girls) have to do it.

I am not a new entrant.

I am not naughty.
