The police stopped this cab on Thursday night it belongs to the local idiot
He had a chain saw and an axe in the boot
The cab was taken away but has been placed by the police to warn other motorists about keeping there cars legal

I doubt it will be crushed sold more likely to raise funds to pay off seizure and storage costs

By the way either the photographer was tipsy at the time or the buildings in your town were designed by the same architect that built the tower of pisa !

I think you will find that unless the owner gets insurance and proves that everything is in order, the vehicle will be crushed even if it is on HP.

Right got the full sp from one of the drivers that speaks to him
He did not have insurance when stopped so car was towed
He got it back out the pound around lunchtime Sat, once proof of insurance was shown
But he is that thick he just parked it on the high street with the sticker still in place for the rest of the day, resulting in no fares tonight, as word spreads fast around here.
Dont know if he was charged on the Thurs night, but it will come out eventually, if he was he wont have his badge much longer

So that's Skippy's Taxis and Aardvark Taxis.

Is there a wildlife taxi theme in the Scottish Borders?

BTW Skippy, I see your roofsign says "£1 DISCOUNT"

Does that apply to flagfall runs as well?

No discounts start on fares over £3.00
So far takings have been going up while those that dont or wont discount are going down

Thats the problem, one does it and everyone else has to fall into the freshly dug hole until everyone is also not earning their worth...then some daft t*** goes even lower and the cycle goes on...
But I hear the cry "we are astute businessmen"....blind lemmings without a clue more like

Well said Gobby, currently the whole industry is in the hands of bad commander's, ones who expect others to do what they won't themselves, no provision for cost vs profit ratio's, a total slaveshop enviroment.

Please someone tell me of when there is a discount on the radio fees, or when a firm owner loses 20% on anything?

I think being as how PH has interfered with my side of things I may have to agitate a strike, how does a firm owner not lose out if 700 drivers don't show up for work, is he going to sack them all or is he going to accept he's had it off long enough and now the boot is on the other foot, my city could have 3 new firms overnight if certain folks had a brain in their heads, and they'd kill the big boy overnight as he'd be struggling to cover accounts and the remaining drivers would leave having been sick of 20% off bus fare jobs all week.

I'm rather pleased I saw this y'know, I'm having a bit of a mind revival myself towards the job recently, and what's good for the goose as they say.

The taxi company in my town that consistantly overcharges customers because they don't use the meter have just recently increased their cut from 40% to 45%. They are now using the meter and are allegedly telling their drivers to charge less than the metered fare. So the drivers will take less and pay more. You can't make it up can you.
