How long does it take to get a passport these days? Do you think I could send the bill for the trip[ to the teacher?

You can get a passport on the day if you go to London.

Book an appointment, go there in the morning to fill out the forms, take the family out for lunch and a bit of shopping, then go back in the afternoon to pick up your passport.

Are you suggesting Santa was god?

I've just been looking at the cost of a trip to Lapland to see Santa  . Guess what, the teacher is right there is no Santa after all.

I myself wouldn't suggest that - but I might suggest that if the name is a corruption of "Saint Nicholas" or "Santa Claus" he is on the same side as the Deity.

That's my first item on Christmas this year - it's only November. #-o

Santa is way better than any God....at least no one dies fighting over Santas of different religious persuasions.

My son will be going to the school this morning. Apparently the teacher is a newly qualified teacher and this is her first job.
The problem is, how do you undo the damage done?

Just tell your granddaughter that Santa only comes to good little boys and girls. Her teacher must have been a naughty child if she never saw Santa or got toys from him. Don't forget to tell the teacher not to rebuke this story or you might be inclined to do things that fit an proper taxis drivers don't normally do

Just think of all that CO2 you'll be saving by not going in fact why not tell the 6 year old that you would like to take her to see santa but don't want to add all that CO2 to your carbon footprint
