i only do a 2 junction stretch of the M6 toll 6 afternoons a week now, where the speed limit is 90mph and no signalling is required when changing lanes

Thanks for all the answers. I now see it as the drivers responsibility if the child is between 3 and 14 must wear a seatbelt but if the child is over 14 its the parents responbsibility. Please can someone confirm I have this right. Also How does a child have toi trael under the age of 3 and final question. If the child is between 14 and adult age and is travveling with no parent (on his own) then I assume the driver is responbsible

as i understand it an under 3 or under a certain height /weight must be sat on parents lap ,the parent must have a seat belt on and hold child around waist and must be in back

Over 14 is child's own responsibility.

Just says anyone travelling in the vehicle aged 14 years and above is responsible for wearing their seat belt, no mention of parents or driver or who is responsible if under 14.

The first link says it's the drivers responsibility if under 14 but the passengers if over.
