I think it's safe to suggest it was probably a Scot.

In the Reform Scotland online survey recently, participants were asked - What is your preferred option for Scotland's political future?

Independence - 61.8%
A transfer of more financial and spending powers - 24.4%
Status quo - 7.7%
Scrap the Scottish Parliament - 6.2%

The report states that: "A clear overall majority ineach of the party groupings believes that the Scottish Parliament should be responsible for raising the majority of the money its spends."

A wee question for all you unionists oot there , who do you think should lead the unionist campaign in the referendum ?. It has been reported this week that cameron will take the lead  great choice i say :D Freeeeeedoooommmm

Im guessing this site is mostly used by the Single theme obsessives that so often compose the SNP...the Vast Majority of Scots who do not wish for Independance are unlikely ever to have heard of such a odd wee Reformist website in the first place...this is just typical of the sleekit technique used by the Pro-Independants to Self Delude themselves and to Delude others into thinking its the views of the Majority...Doh! Your country would have been bankrupt, and sharing the begging bowl with Greece.

Even the most hardened unionist would disagree with you Sussex , An independent Scotland would have flourished like Norway. Its pension fund sits a £338 billion and is continuing to grow by 39% each year , so even when the oil does drip dry the fund will continue to provide for the Norwegians.Even Michael Moore s recent gaf revelled Scotland would have been better off if not part of the union .

Its not so much the Independance thats the problem.....Its the erseholes who currently fill Holyrood that are the problem, Theres hardly a decent politician amongst them and its its going to be those erseholes who will be running scotland....they couldnt run an egg and spoon race let alone an Independant Scotland...Id rather be run from Westminster with a scottish input!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scotland will never elect a tory administration.
You might as well move a few miles south.

1. A successful and stable political and economic union 300 years old, with a single currency, a single language and strong cultural links.

2 An unstable and failing political and economic union barely a few decades old, with a single currency failling apart after only a decade or so, dozens of different languages and with little common cultural identity.

Get what I'm on about, Tone?

And Alex Salmond is desperate to get out of 1 and into 2

That's just crude and self-serving political rhetoric which any party leader could come up with, like an election manifesto.

The reality is a bit different.

Don’t want to sound to much like Skull, but the powers that be, (The real powers that be ), will never allow the Union to be split. Now, that’s not because of the 300 yr old “Friendship,” it’s because, it disnae’ suit them !. But, maybe, just maybe, it will happen... Not because of Salmond, (His smugness does ma’ heid' in), but the Scots detest the likes of Cameron and his cronies, (I’m sure that applies to a lot o’ the English too, not enough tho') Pesronally, I couldnae’ care less wether there was a split or not, but I would like to think that we would demand more Democracy /fairness than there is now.
