hi all...
Does anybody know if local authoritys have to do a dvla check when applicant applies for a taxi badge and if so anybody know what the current charge is for the dvla check

Yes most do,cost £5.

Ours do this check and it costs £5.00 as stated by Mancity fan.

Don't think they have to, just many choose to.

I think the cost is around £6, but not certain.

That's what I said to our LO the other day when she said CRB's were coming back quicker than the licence checks because the DVLA were working to rule.
