I've got one of these in case any guide dog who sits on the floor accidentally manages to get hair on the seats, £1.50 from Tesco with 20 meters of sticky tape.

This "don't worry, it'll sit on the floor" thing always sounds like a bit like "don't worry, we won't eat our food" or "don't worry, they won't be sick".

You know they'll eat the food, the semi-consious drunk will throw up, and the dog will end up on the seats ](*,)

gusmac: I would have been tempted to agree with you, having a pretty good idea of how the Guide, and Hearing, Dogs are trained.

However, Disabled Owners are still Owners, and seem to behave like most of the rest of our Population.

Luckily, I have those plastic (sorry "leatherette") seats, but I have experienced 2, much loved and cosseted, Aid dogs that sit on the seats rather than the floor.

Indeed, and I was careful not to bring guide dogs into it, because as I said earlier I can't recall ever having one.
