It doesn't make one bit of difference to the public, the only people that make a fuss about it or care about it are the taxi drivers. The HC drivers here are no more qualified to drive the public from A to B than I am. All the public want to know is if the driver and the vehicle are safe, end of. So in your opinion what makes a cabbie, a light on the roof?

No a cabbie has good local knowledge an ecyclopeidic mind and the patience of Job

A PH has a heavy foot likes the sound of his/her horn and pulls off a job after 60 seconds
